Circa 1800. This historic home is located on old farmland and said to be the site of a blacksmith shop run by Charles Howe. The original pine board floors are prominent throughout the home and we salvaged as much as possible. Also evident, were the original doors and iron hardware for many of the bedrooms. This project also entailed extensive landscape designs that we felt were needed so as to exemplify the corner lot which is located on a well-traveled road in Methuen. This project earned the Historic Preservation Award from the City of Methuen.
