Historic Preservation Project

The William M. Jewell Home

Circa 1870. This classic Italianate style home was in disrepair and originally scheduled to be torn down but after much discussion with the town departments, we formulated a way to save the home and restore it to its original condition with the help of the town. The exterior of the home was repaired to near exact representation to its original condition using period materials and referencing historical photos of the property. With the help from the town of Methuen’s Historical Commission and specifically, the Festival of Trees organization this home is sure to last for many more generations.
