He has been in the home building business for over twenty years, creating fine neighborhoods in both Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Michael is an active member of the National Association of Home Builders. Michael was awarded special recognition from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the "Spring Meadows" Joint Venture for Affordable Housing Development in Hudson, NH.

As a dedicated home building professional, Michael uses his creative views to forecast trends in home building and retain a competitive edge in the industry. From site layout, to interior and exterior house design to finished landscaping, quality is his top priority! TopNotch Homes communities are meticulously planned with the everyday needs, lifestyles and preferences of today's home buyer.

Shane Wakeen, Michael’s son, is the Project Supervisor for TopNotch Homes. Shane has been in the industry for many years and has grown up on the jobsite learning from his father. He is onsite each and every day during the build of your home and takes a personal interest in each family he works with; ensuring your needs are met throughout the whole home buying process.

As Project Supervisor, Shane is who you meet with to tour your home as you build; guiding you through the process supporting any decisions that need to be made. At the completion of the home, you will have a 1.5 hour Home Owner Orientation with him. Here you will tour your new home through the eye of the builder. The orientation is an extensive look into the details of your home and a presentation of its true value. And of course, Shane will answer any of your questions along the way.
